#7: That’s Gonna Be a ‘No’ For Me
It’s undoubtedly disheartening when you leave a job interview with a positive impression only to discover that the interviewer has a different perspective. This unfortunate situation unfolded for a woman who believed her interview had gone reasonably well. As she was being escorted out by the person who had interviewed her, another team member approached to introduce himself, creating an awkward moment.
To her dismay, the initial interviewer, without uttering a word, conspicuously shook their head “no” to signal that she wouldn’t be getting the job. This gesture indicated that there was no need to introduce herself to her since she was not being considered. Such a blunt and tactless approach to conveying the decision undoubtedly left her disheartened and disrespected.
