#39: Let’s Get Ethical (Ethical)
A think tank typically serves as a research institute focusing on social policy, economics, culture, and other pertinent social issues. It’s reasonable to assume that individuals working at a think tank should possess basic moral and ethical values or, at the very least, adhere to a social ethics code.
That was the expectation of this person when asked about his ethics during the interview. He expressed his commitment to honesty and ethics in the workplace. However, to his surprise, it appeared that this particular think tank was seeking individuals who did not prioritize ethical conduct. The reasons behind this preference remain a mystery. One can’t help but wonder if he eventually secured the job despite this unexpected twist.
