#45: No Lint, No Problem
If you’ve ever done laundry at a laundromat or even at home, you’ve likely encountered the dreaded lint trap. While it might seem like just a minor inconvenience, ignoring it can lead to major problems. Lint buildup restricts airflow in the dryer, creating a fire hazard that could endanger your home and safety.
It’s easy to avoid. After every load, open the lint drawer or panel—usually just below the dryer door—and clean it out. Even a quick swipe with your hand or a brush will make a big difference. It keeps your dryer running efficiently and helps your clothes dry faster. Clean lint traps may not be glamorous, but they’re definitely essential.
