#28: Share Your Location
If someone constantly asks “Where are you?”—whether it’s a concerned parent or a worried friend—there’s a helpful Google Maps feature you should know about. You can share your location in real-time for a specific duration. It’s easy to activate and gives others peace of mind while you’re traveling or commuting.
To use it, open Google Maps, tap your profile icon, and find “Location Sharing.” You can choose who to share your location with and how long they’ll be able to see it. It’s perfect for meeting up, checking in safely, or just avoiding repetitive texts. And for those who tend to run late, maybe don’t use this unless you’re actually on the way.
