#1: Save For Later
Most people don’t realize their smartphones can do more than just send texts and take photos. One incredibly useful feature that often goes unnoticed is the ability to schedule a text message for later. This comes in handy when you remember something important at 2 a.m. but don’t want to wake someone up. For Android users, the process is simple—just hold down the send icon and pick your desired time. It’s a quick and efficient way to stay thoughtful without sending awkwardly timed messages.
iPhone users, unfortunately, don’t have it quite so easy. The same long-press on the send button doesn’t offer a “send later” option. Instead, they have to use the Shortcuts app, which adds a few extra steps. While still possible, it’s not as straightforward. In this case, Android users clearly have the advantage. It’s a small but mighty feature that could make communication just a little more considerate.
