#34: An Unexpected Hitchhiker
While driving home one night, a man hit what he thought was a cat on the road. Devastated, he got out to check but found nothing. Assuming the animal had run off, he continued his drive. The next day, while checking the undercarriage of his truck, he discovered the cat—miraculously alive—tucked near the spare tire. No one could explain how it got there or survived the impact.
Stunned but relieved, he took the cat to the vet and later adopted it. The two quickly formed a bond, and the once-stray cat became a beloved companion.
