#33: All the News That’s Fit to Print
After moving into a new home, one woman began experiencing odd things—especially around the kitchen. Cabinets opened on their own, newspapers were found spread out even when she hadn’t taken them out, and the air always felt a bit colder in that space. It wasn’t until she joked that her ghost might just want to catch up on current events that she started leaving a paper out intentionally.
Each time, it would be turned to a different page. Whether it was a sign or simply a prank played by someone in the house, she couldn’t deny the pattern. Over time, the activity became comforting rather than creepy. Maybe her ghost just liked to stay informed. It was a strange cohabitation, but one that reminded her that even spirits might cling to their routines. Not every haunting has to be horrifying—some just want the morning paper.
