#21: The Light in the Castle
Losing a sibling at a young age can leave a wound that never truly heals. One woman shared a story about her younger sister who passed away far too soon. As children, they loved to play in a toy castle their parents bought for them. After her sister’s passing, she would still visit the castle alone, often feeling a strange but peaceful presence nearby. One day, she saw a small light flicker inside the castle when no one else was around.
She believes it was her sister, returning for one last visit. While skeptics might call it a trick of the eye, she felt calm and comforted in that moment. For her, it was not about proving anything but about feeling connected. The idea that her sister had come back to play in their favorite place one final time gave her a sense of peace that words couldn’t explain.
