Encouraging employees to minimize phone usage during work can be challenging, whether in a cafe or office environment. Frequent phone-checking has become common. Still, there’s a clear line between appropriate and excessive phone use at work, considering the primary focus should be tasks and responsibilities.

This approach raises concerns about how employees should handle emergencies. It’s reasonable to expect a more understanding response from management in such situations.
