For 2025, many Chinese brands have put more focus on creating smartphones with a larger battery box. So far, we have seen such features in devices like Vivo iQOO Z10 and OnePlus Nord CE 5. This July, Honor is finally joining this race with their latest invention. Meet the amazing Honor X70. Ahead of its launch, we have heard many updates about its massive battery box, but we didn’t get the exact number. Today, the Chinese brand has unveiled its juice box: 8300mAh. Previously, the record for the largest Honor phone battery box was the Honor Power with an 8000mAh battery.
Let’s get back to the main star of the day. The Honor X70’s battery comes with 80W fast charging support. The official website promises that it can deliver up to 15 hours of screen-on time or longer video playback after a single charge. The Honor smartphone offers different storage options: 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB ROM (no card slot). Furthermore, it runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset with Adreno 810 GPU. As for the display, the handset offers a 6.79-inch AMOLED display (1,200×2,640 pixels).
On the other hand, the smartphone also has Aluminosilicate glass protection with Honor’s Oasis Eye Protection screen. Under the hood, the Honor X70 has the latest Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0 version. On another note, the Honor X7 camera only has a single 50MP rear snapper and an 8MP selfie lens. While this is not an excellence element, the company also added other AI features for photo editing. Finally, it offers many color options: Bamboo Green, Moon Shadow White, Magic Night Black, and Vermillion Red.
Honor X70 release date and price
Based on what we learnt, the Honor X70 remained a Chinese-only product for now. There are no updates on when it can arrive on the global market. As for the Honor X70 price, it is different for each version. The standard model of 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM can start at CNY 1,599 (Rs 19,000).
