#18: Not-So-Smartphones
Smartphones have destroyed the art of conversation. I mean, it used to be that when you went out to dinner with friends, you’d actually talk to each other. Now, everyone’s just staring at their screens, scrolling through social media, or texting someone who isn’t even sitting at the table.
It’s like we’ve all forgotten how to have a proper conversation. And then there are group chats – they’re like black holes that suck up all of your time and attention. It’s a wonder we haven’t all turned into robots by now, with our faces glued to screens and our fingers constantly tapping away.
