That’s over 14 hours a week and more than 730 hours a year! Research has also shown that social media can be more addictive than cigarettes and alcohol.
In fact, one study found that people who were asked to give up social media for a week experienced the same withdrawal symptoms as drug addicts. We’re all hooked on a digital drug that we can’t quit. The next time you mindlessly scroll through your feed, think about these stats.
