Since Steve was the one to point out the bananas were placed at a dangerous spot, he’s the immediate suspect as the person who ate them. Regardless of whoever ate the bananas, the “please eat me!” sign is indeed very confusing. We can only assume the sign was put at the snacks table next to the fruits to encourage the office workers to avoid chocolate and other unhealthy snacks.

But so many questions are left unanswered: if this is a public snack table, what were the bananas doing there without a note saying they belong to someone? And the more pressing question, what are those apples doing there? Were they placed there to replace the stolen bananas?
