Logical Choice
This is a classic example of passive-aggressive behavior: the belief that pushing the printer harder will miraculously improve its performance. Deep down, we all know that exerting more force won’t fix a malfunctioning printer, but our instinctual reaction to such frustrations often involves pushing harder or resorting to physical actions to vent our frustration.
Even though our parents have reminded us countless times that force isn’t the solution (even for stubborn printers), our reflex is to press buttons with more vigor. Fed up with people mistreating the printer, someone decided to offer a dose of reason, and what better way than through a passive-aggressive note? Admit it, this note is rather convincing.
