We all want our house to be a warm and welcoming environment, so we tend to care about our neighbors’ houses as well, at least when it comes to their exteriors. We want everything around us to look pleasant. That’s why if a neighbor neglects their garden, it might become our concern too.

This Bob guy was probably nagging his neighbor about painting his fence because the old, faded wood bothered him every time he passed by. The neighbor didn’t care for it and decided to let him know what he thought of the request, not in a mean way that might cause feuds, but with a passive-aggressive message written on the said fence.
