Fonts Do Matter
We all understand the importance of using appropriate fonts in formal letters, notes, or any work-related documents (and let’s not even mention Comic Sans, the font everyone loves to hate). Unfortunately, it seems that one person missed the memo that Comic Sans is not suitable for professional use unless you’re a middle school student selling lemonade over the summer to earn some pocket money.
Can we really take someone seriously when they employ this font? The issue of closing doors can be a genuine concern in offices, especially for those who struggle to maintain their concentration. It becomes even more challenging when colleagues won’t stop discussing “Game of Thrones” or humming tunes from “Frozen.” While we appreciate the value of this sign, if you want to be taken seriously, consider selecting a more appropriate font next time.
